Lack of Conversation

Earlier today I spent a good deal of time walking up and down the seasonal rows at the local Target. Valentine pink and red plastic wrappers full of cheap candy piled high on each shelf and yet I couldn't find a single box of Neco conversation hearts. There were imitation versions by the family fun size bag, but not a box of the simple classic. My heart broke!

Tomorrow I'll try a grocery store to see if my quest can't be met. After all, what would Valentines day be without the powdery sweet "Be Mine".

Rewards for Good Citizenship

Suffice it to say, the county auditor has failed me. They have yet to send out our license tabs, which were renewed in more than enough time for me to receive them before my others legitimacy ran out. When I looked into it that last week of December I discovered that not only did they not update our tabs, although they took the money out of our account, they also are "renewing" our plates so this couldn't just be taken care of over the counter at a licensing office! Now I have to go down the the county auditors office and find out why. What a convoluted mess. Thanks for the Christmas gift Pierce County! I look forward to wasting my time chasing down business you should have already had in order. What a nice reward for being a good citizen. Tsk!
